Electric Bricks does a tremendous amount of content writing for our clients each month. Our goal is to consistently produce unique, high-quality content that not only engages readers, but has a positive impact on a site’s SEO (search engine optimization). In fact, that is the primary reason so many clients trust us with their blogging: to benefit their SEO. Some of the main ingredients for improving SEO through blogging are timeliness and consistency. Publishing fresh, unique content regularly is a proven SEO strategy, but in order to fully benefit from this, it’s important that blog articles get published regularly and on time. For that reason, we are implementing the following policy for the approval and publishing of client blogs:
Blog Schedule & Approval Process
- Our publication calendar will always be 2 months into the future – i.e., if it is currently January, then we are writing and scheduling blog posts for March.
- Blog topics will be sent to clients for approval during the first week of the month. Clients will have 1 week from the time they are sent to approve them or suggest new topics. If there is no response, it is assumed they are acceptable, and writing will begin.
- If you have specific topics you wish to be written for your blog, it is STRONGLY encouraged that you get those to us at least a month or two before you want them published.
- All drafts for a single month will be sent to the client for review at the same time (usually within two weeks of sending topics). Clients will have 1 week from the time they are sent to approve them or request changes. If there is no response, it is assumed they are acceptable, and they will be scheduled for publication.
It is possible on occasion for fewer than the agreed-upon number of blogs to be published in a single month. This is rare and typically happens due to circumstances out of our control. In these cases, we will make up any missed blogs in the following months. We audit each account twice per year to make sure that the correct total number of blogs are published before the end of the year.
